How Is the Day Master Calculated?
The Day Master is the Heavenly Stem of the Day Pillar. In a Four Pillars chart, look at the Day column and take the top character.
Here is a sample chart based on the current time (2026-06-05 10:35). The highlighted Heavenly Stem in the Day Pillar is the Day Master, which is Geng in this example.
