- Can I calculate BaZi without an exact birth time?
Yes. If your birth time is unknown, enter 00:00 to generate the chart. The hour pillar may be inaccurate, but the year, month, and day pillars remain valid. Accuracy may be lower because the hour pillar affects the overall structure.
- Does a few minutes difference matter?
Usually not. But if the time is close to a pillar boundary (each two-hour segment) or near a day boundary, it can affect the hour pillar or even the day pillar.
- Should I enter a solar or lunar date?
Please enter your solar (Gregorian) date. The system automatically converts it into the BaZi chart.
