六丙日生时丁酉，刃生身死为灾咎；柱中无救定然凶，就财弃命难长寿。
丙日丁酉时，刃生身死，丁为刃，辛为财，酉上辛旺丙死，丁火长生，就财弃命，若无救助，不通身旺月，刃神不见刑冲，为人凶狠，不明礼义，有始无终；通月气，或有救助，为技艺便巧之流。癸卯月生者，癸能破丁刃为官，癸水卯上长生，卯中有旺乙为印，如用神有力，又行水木运，贵显。
丙子日丁酉时，春稳，夏贵，秋平，冬吉。未申酉亥年月，大贵。有丑会子，有辰会酉，俱以贵论。
丙寅日丁酉时，卯亥未年月，乾透官煞者贵。馀月有艺，平常。
丙辰日丁酉时，寅午戌巳年月，乾透煞印者贵。申子会官，乾透印比者贵。如年月火土，宜见财则吉。
丙午日丁酉时，生巳午戌月，僧道命好；酉月贵；亥子丑寅卯辰官印年月，大贵。
丙申日丁酉时，通水木气月，行水木运贵。已午，身旺。亥子，官旺。年月两全者，大贵。
丙戌日丁酉时，月通木气，行水运，贵；通金气，行火运，金马玉堂，才名冠世。露庚藏戊，贫夭。
丙火遇酉不相当，太阳日没少辉光；四柱若嫌冲克破，六亲刑害走旁徨。丙日时逢丁酉，天元炎火销金。六亲相守不安宁，阻碍前程难进。日夜思量不足。居官犹自忧贪。若逢巳月改门庭，子午傍人嗔恨。
Interpretation
When a person is born on a day of the six Bing days and the hour is Ding You, the presence of the blade (a certain astrological concept) leads to death and brings disasters. If there is no remedy in the eight - character horoscope, it is surely an inauspicious situation. Seeking wealth while abandoning one's life makes it difficult to have a long life.
On the Bing day and Dingyou hour, the blade (a certain element in the Five - Element and Four - Pillars theory) is born but the life is lost. Ding represents the blade, and Xin represents wealth. On the You position, Xin is prosperous while Bing is in the state of death, and Ding fire is in the state of birth. This is a situation of pursuing wealth while sacrificing one's life. If there is no assistance and it is not in the month when the body (the main element representing the person) is prosperous, and the blade element is not affected by punishment or conflict, the person will be fierce, have no sense of propriety and righteousness, and start things but not finish them. If the energy of the month is in harmony or there is assistance, the person will be a skillful craftsman. For those born in the Guimao month, Gui can break the Ding blade and act as an official. Gui water is in the state of birth on the Mao position, and there is prosperous Yi in Mao as the seal. On the Bingchen day and Dingyou hour, if the year and month are Yin, Wu, Xu, or Si, and the Heavenly Stems reveal the Seven Killings and Seal, the person will be noble. If Shen and Zi combine to form the Officer, and the Heavenly Stems reveal the Seal and Peer, the person will be noble. If the year and month are of Fire and Earth elements, it is auspicious to have the Wealth element appear.
If one is born at the Dingyou hour on the Bingwu day, and the birth month falls within the months of Siyi, Wuwu, or Xutu, they will have a good fortune as a monk or a Taoist. If born in the You month, they will be of noble status. If the year and month of birth feature official and seal elements in the context of the Chinese zodiac such as Haizi, Chouyin, Maoyin, or Chen, they will achieve great nobility.

If the qi is in harmony with the metal element and one follows the fire element's fortune, it is like having a position in the imperial court, with talents and fame ranking first in the world. If Geng (metal) is exposed and Wu (earth) is hidden, it brings poverty and an early death.
When the Bing Fire meets You, it's not a good match. The sun sets and loses its brilliance. If the four pillars are worried about being broken by clashes and conflicts, the six relatives will suffer and be in a state of confusion. When it's a Bing day and the hour is Ding You, the Heavenly Yuan's blazing fire melts the metal. The six relatives stay together but are not at peace, and there are obstacles in the future and it's difficult to make progress. One keeps thinking about the insufficiency day and night. Even when in office, one still worries about greed. If it meets the Si month, the family situation will change. If it's Zi or Wu, others will be angry.
