谓甲申、乙酉等日。如乙丑日，丑中自坐辛金为煞，喜生春夏，乙木健旺，煞自有制，不喜明见丙丁，生秋月雕零，坐下藏鬼，岂不为害？凡值此等日，要日干倚旺，再无官煞复克，喜印化煞，财旺身旺，为福。如煞旺，有伤官合制，亦贵，如无助化，再行煞旺运，或再见煞克，为人必面目瘢痕，侏儒跛鳖，骈指瘤赘，奸贪猛暴，恃强不惮，累犯宪章。克重多夭，合格为武贵。但为人心多性急，阴险怀毒，僭伪谋害，不近人情。 《时上一位贵》
《喜忌篇》云：若乃时逢七煞，见之未必为凶，月制乾强，其煞反为权印。经云：时上偏官身要强，阳刃冲刑煞敢当，制多要行煞旺运，煞多制少必为殃。盖时上偏官，要乾上透出，只一位为妙，年月日重见，反主辛苦劳碌，若身旺，煞制太过，喜行煞旺运，或三合煞运，如无制伏，要行制伏运方发。但忌身弱，纵得运扶持发福，运过依旧不济。又曰：时上偏官，不怕冲刃，为人性重刚直不屈，煞无根要坐旺宫，有根不宜财有，煞之根，若一位七煞，却有两三重制伏，纵文过李、杜，终难显达。《独步》云：时煞无根，煞旺最贵，时煞多根，煞旺不和。《惊神赋》云：时上偏官，有制，晚子英奇。

时上偏官喜刃冲，身强制伏禄丰隆，正官若也来相混，身弱财多主困穷。
又：
时上偏官一位强，日辰自旺喜非常，有财有印多财禄，定是天生作栋梁。

三命通会。卷五时逢七煞是偏官，有制身强好命者，制过喜行煞旺运，三合得地发何难。

时逢七煞本无儿，此理人间仔细推，底月时中如有制，定知有子贵而迟。
