偏官者,乃甲见庚、乙见辛之例,犹二男不同处,二女不同居,不成配偶,故谓之偏官。以其隔七位而相克战,故谓之七煞。譬小人多凶暴,无忌惮,若无礼法控制之,不惩不戒,必伤其主,故有制谓之偏官,无制谓之七煞。如日主健旺,有印绶助化,即经云逢煞看财,如身强煞弱,有财星则吉,身弱煞强,有财引鬼盗气,非贫则夭;有食神透制,即经云一见制伏,却为贵本;有阳刃配合,即经云煞无刃不显,逢煞看刃是也。以上诸制合生化,须要无太过不及,是借小人势力卫护君子以成威权,乃大权大贵之命。又性格聪明,忌日主衰弱,七煞重逢,三刑、六害、劫、亡相并,魁罡相冲,其凶不可具述。若七煞止一,而制伏有二三处,喜行煞旺地,倘运再遇制伏,则尽法无民,虽猛如虎狼,亦不能逞其技矣。是又不可专言制伏,要轻重得所。故经云:原有制伏,煞出为福,原无制伏,煞出为祸,此之谓也。假如甲见庚及申,乙见辛及酉,柱中煞旺有气,宜行东南方运制庚辛,无气方发,否则生寅卯月,或自坐长生、临官、帝旺,更多带比肩同类相扶,则能化鬼为官,化煞为权,行运引至印乡,必发富贵,倘岁运再遇煞地,祸不旋踵。假令甲寅生人为身旺,岁月见庚申为煞旺,柱中不透火制,地支子辰会印成局,则煞生印,印生身,作权贵看。年乾露煞与月令时支不同,太岁乃一生之主,最重。如甲见庚年,乙见辛年,又生申酉丑月,柱中金多,大运再行金乡,流年岁君并见,为凶尤甚;若生寅午戌及木旺之月,火制身强,金绝不能为害,则吉。

经云:甲逢庚,败凋零,枝叶根枯;乙遇辛,伤消乏,本根苗损;炎炎丙火遇壬,而黑焰无光;灿灿丁红见癸,而辉光自灭;戊临甲位,须防转福为殃;己坐乙乡,自是禄元有损;庚遭丙战,势自倾危;辛被丁伤,克伐为害;壬逢戊土,蹇涩难通;癸就己乡,奔波难保。干禄生旺,可以扶持,惟喜刃来,自能合制。又云:五行遇月支偏官,只许地支一位,多则不佳,四柱纯煞有制,定居一品之尊。略见一位正官,官煞混杂,反贱。四柱煞旺,运纯身旺,为官清贵。又云:身煞俱旺,无制伏,又行煞旺运,虽贵不久。《继善篇》云:身强煞浅,假煞为权,煞重身轻,终身有损。《定真》云:七煞如逢财助,其煞愈凶。又云:刃为兵器,无煞难存,煞为军令,无刃不尊,刃煞两显,威镇乾坤。《四言》云:煞不离印,不离煞,煞印相生,功名显达。《妙选赋》云:煞为武艺,印为文华,有煞无印欠文彩,有印无煞欠威风。绝妙!煞印双全,宜其文武两备。《幽玄赋》云:七煞遇长生之位,女招贵夫。《络绎赋》云:煞临子位,必招悖逆之儿。《千里马》云七煞有制亦多儿。《相心赋》云:偏官七煞,势压三公,喜酒色而偏争好斗,受轩昂而扶弱欺强,性情如虎,急躁如风。古歌云:偏官不可例言凶,有制还他衣禄丰,乾上食神支带合,儿孙满眼受褒封。又:身逢七煞是提纲,只为干衰大受伤,正禄交差刑煞入,终身不免受凶殃。又:七煞提纲本是愁,只因驯服喜无忧,平生正直无邪曲,职位当封万户侯。又:月位偏官本煞神,有制还居一品尊」。俨若自身荣贵晚,也须为福及儿孙。又:月支偏官最忌冲,伤官羊刃喜相逢,日乾旺相皆为贵,制伏无过百事通。又:身弱煞强无制神,多生灾祸不堪论,那堪更入官旺地,耽疾遭刑丧此身。又:甲乙之煞露庚辛,月中水木喜加临,运行木火兴名利,水运行来怕火金。又:丙丁五月重逢煞,木火来临大有功,金水运行身有祸,子来冲破最为凶。又:六乙生逢巳酉丑,局中却忌财星守,忽然行运到金乡,管取平生寿不久。又:庚日全逢寅午戌,天乾透土始为祥,重重火旺声名显,命里休囚忌水乡。又:六丙生人亥子多,煞星归印反中和,东方行运功名显,运至西方事转磨。又:阴水多逢巳字伤,煞星须要水来降,纵然名利能高显,只恐平生寿不长。又:土逢卯位三合全,不忌当生金水缠,火木旺乡名利显,再行坤坎祸绵绵。又:甲乙若逢申,喜印暗相生,水旺金也旺,官袍必挂身。又:甲乙生寅月,金多反吉昌,不宜重见水,火土是衣粮。合诸说,观偏官喜忌睹矣。
