Original Text

六甲日生甲子时,败中印绶官生至;

Interpretation

Those born at the Jiazi hour on a day of the Six Jia days experience a decline, yet the Seal and Official elements are born and developed.

The moon's connection with the qi of wood is quite extraordinary. Conversely, what is being talked about here are just vain fame and fortune.

When the Heavenly Stem is Jia and the earthly branch of the hour is Zi on a Jia day, although Jia is in a state of decline at Zi, there is secretly the vital energy of Gui water as the seal, and there is also the official qi generating the seal. If Ji earth breaks the seal but there is a connection with the qi of the month, it indicates nobility. Otherwise, it shows appearance of talent but without actual achievement.

On the Jiazi day and at the Jiazi hour, it is the pattern of Zi Yao Si. If there are no Geng, Xin, Shen, or You in the year and month columns, and there is the binding of Chou and the clash of Wu, one will leave one's ancestral home and establish oneself independently and achieve nobility. If both the year and month columns are Yin, when encountering the Shen and You luck periods, one will become extremely wealthy first and then lose wealth. If the year and month columns are Zi, Hai, Mao, or Wei, and one travels in the Western luck, one will achieve nobility. The Jiachen month also brings nobility. In the You month, it is only regarded as the pattern of Zheng Guan, and one will achieve great nobility. In the Si, Wu, and Xu months, it is just ordinary. In the Wu month, Jia is in the state of death and there is a clash with Zi, which is especially inauspicious. In the Yimao and Yisi months, it indicates death by law. All of the above are mainly based on the day and hour, and the year and month of a person's birth are supplementary. Those with different official positions are the fates of previous generations. The same applies below.

On the Jia-yin day and Jia-zi hour, it forms an arch with Xin in Chou, which is auspicious. If there are no Geng, Xin, Shen, You, Chou, or Wei in the year and month columns, it indicates great nobility. If it is also in the Jia-yin month, it brings loneliness and misfortune to relatives, and only a career as a Buddhist monk or Taoist priest is suitable. If the year and month are Hai or Zi, one can attain the rank of a fourth - grade official. In the Wu month, if one travels in the northeast direction, one can also achieve nobility. In months like You, Chou, or Si, where there are obvious official and killing elements, as long as there is a seal in the pillar, one will be noble. In the Mao or Wei months, the body energy is too strong, which may lead to punishment and injury. In the Yi-si month, one will suffer punishment. In the Ding-hai month, one will die a bad death in a prosperous situation.

On the Jia Chen day and Jia Zi hour, if the year and month are dominated by the water element, water overflows and makes the wood float, which indicates a change of roots and leaves (a change in one's situation). In the Shen month, when the inauspicious star combines with the seal element, both will bring honor and nobility. In the Zi month, if one experiences the luck of the water and wood elements, it also leads to nobility. In the You month, with the proper official element, it brings great nobility. In the Yin, Wu, and Xu months, all will be auspicious. In the Yi Mao month, there will be setbacks and misfortunes. In the Gui Si month, one will die in a situation involving water and fire. In the Gui Hai month, one will die a tragic death.

On the jiawu day and jiazi hour, when the day and the hour clash with each other, one will grieve over one's wife. If the qi of wood is circulated in the month, one will be noble. If the year and month are purely zi and wu, or the month is hai, wei or you, one will be noble in all cases.

On the Jiashen day and Jiazishi hour, the Jia stem is at the fetus stage and meets the seal, and the seal transforms the killing qi, which indicates nobility. There is a situation of "overlapping mandarin ducks", and it is difficult to have offspring. If one walks in the southeastern direction of the fortune, one will hold positions between military and civilian posts. In the months of Hai, Mao, Wei, Chen, Chou, and Shen, etc., one will be noble. In the Yimao month, one will die young. In the Dingsi month, one will die with an incomplete body.

On the day of jiaxu and at the time of jiazi, it forms an arch towards the heavenly gate at hai, meeting at the imperial palace. It is also the place of the birth of jia, so it cannot be judged by the theory of the corner separation. If the year and month communicate with the metal qi of shen, si, you and chou, it indicates great nobility. In the year and month of wuyin, it may lead to deaf - muteness, or being harmed by wolves or tigers. If ren appears, it is auspicious. In the month of yimao, one may die due to punishment. In the month of yihai, one may die by being robbed. The auspicious and inauspicious signs of the year and month for these six days should be considered flexibly. The same applies hereinafter.

When the Heavenly Stem Jia and Earthly Branch Zi meet and connect, one is like a fairy plucking laurel in the lunar palace; when the Earthly Branch Chou has conflicts and clashes and the "official ghost" is broken, the pursuit of fame will be full of setbacks and incomplete. When the Jiazi hour coincides with the Jiazi day, it indicates that the "seal and ribbon" signs are in harmony. If Gengshen or Xinyou are encountered, and Chou and Wei are also involved in the year and month. The hidden noble status is extremely prominent, but if it is broken by Si and Wu, it is just mediocre. If there are truly no punishments, conflicts, or empty clashes, it is certain to make one stand out from the crowd.
