Encountering Benefactors in the Three - Combination

经云：三合若是遇贵禄，平生多财谷。如乙巳、乙丑、乙巳、辛巳，乙为日主，用庚为贵，天乾无庚，却巳酉丑三合官局，故为三合遇贵，又名暗官格。

Interpretation

The scripture says: If the three - element combination meets noble fortune and emolument, one will have abundant wealth and grain throughout life. For example, in the case of Yi - Si, Yi - Chou, Yi - Si, and Xin - Si, with Yi as the day master, Geng is regarded as the noble element. Since there is no Geng in the Heavenly Stems, but there is a three - element combination of Si, You, and Chou which forms an official bureau. Therefore, it is a case of the three - element combination meeting the noble element, also known as the hidden official pattern.
