Interpretation
When a person is born on a day with the Heavenly Stem of Ji and the Hour Stem of Yi and the Earthly Branch of Hai, the official qi is hidden and the killing qi is visible, which is not particularly remarkable.
It is auspicious when metal is encountered to counteract the inauspicious influence. If one's vital energy is not strong, the misfortune can be foreseen.
On a day with the Heavenly Stem Ji and the Earthly Branch Hai in the hour of Yi, the malevolent influence (killing qi) is apparent while the official qi is hidden. Ji takes Jia as the official and Yi as the malevolent influence (ghost). On the Earthly Branch Hai, there is the visible Yi and the hidden Jia, resulting in a mixture of the official and the malevolent influence. If there is Xin in the Pillar to control Yi, it means removing the malevolent influence and keeping the official. Those who have the qi of the month in harmony will be noble and prominent. On Hai, the water is strong while the earth is weak, which may lead to drifting and unemployment. When encountering wealth, it cannot be gathered, and there will be success, failure, advancement, and retreat. It is only auspicious when the qi of the self and the malevolent influence are in balance. Those who do not have the qi of the month in harmony but have favorable qi in the luck cycle will also have good fortune.
On the Jichou day and Yihai hour, if it is in the months when the earthly branches are Si, You, and Chou, the malevolent influence is restricted while the favorable influence is retained, which indicates nobility. In the Wu month, with a strong personal element, it also indicates nobility. In the Zi month or during the fire - dominated period, one can attain the seventh or eighth rank of nobility. In the Mao and Wei months, if Xin is revealed to restrict Yi, it indicates great nobility.
On the day of Jǐmǎo and at the hour of Yǐhài, if it is the Mao month, it belongs to the pattern of partial official. With a strong evil influence and a weak self, it should be regarded as a case of giving up one's fate. If the character Rén is secretly present, one will be full of lofty aspirations. If there are restraining elements in the Bazi, and when one walks through the earthly and metal luck periods, one can reach the third or fourth rank in officialdom. In the Chǒu month, it is a mixed qi situation. In the Chén, Sì months, and when walking through the Western luck, one can attain high - ranking official positions. In the Hài month, during the water luck period, one may die young.
On the day of Jisi and at the hour of Yihai, if it is in the months of Yin, Wu, or Xu, the "Golden God" enters the "Fire Region", which indicates nobility. In the month of Si and with a northwest fortune, one can reach the position of a high - ranking official. In the years or months with Mao and Wu, one can hold a position in the judicial and disciplinary system. If the years and months are purely Zi and Hai, since wealth supports the inauspicious "killing qi", it is regarded as a situation of "abandonment", and it means one will hold great military power.
On the day of Jǐwèi and at the time of Yǐhài, if there is no punishment, destruction, or confusion, one will be noble and wealthy, and their literary talent is praiseworthy.
On the day of Jiyou and at the hour of Yihai, if born in spring or summer, one will be prominent and successful; if born in autumn, being overly restricted, one will be a poor scholar; if born in winter, one will have prosperous wealth. If the year and month are Wusi or Xugou, one will hold a sixth or seventh - rank official position and be noble. If born in the month of Yin and moving in the fortune of metal and fire, one will hold a fourth or fifth - rank official position and be noble.
On the day of Jihai and at the hour of Yihai, if Xin appears in the year and month columns to counteract, it indicates nobility; if there is no counteraction, it still means outstanding achievements. In the Xu month, one may hold a position in the disciplinary department. In the Si month, one is also noble. In the Chou month, which represents a palace of thick earth, one can reach the third - rank official position. Another view is that self - punishment may lead to many setbacks and successes, and wealth will come in old age.
In the year of Yihai under Tianyuan in the time cycle, the lucky star of traveling and the stage of "Longsheng" are no ordinary signs. When one's body (in the context of fortune - related concepts) is strong and the inauspicious star is also powerful, both fortune and blessings will come together. One will achieve prominent fame and enjoy a happy countenance. For those born on a Ji - day and at the Yihai hour, the inauspicious star (partial official) happily meets the proper wealth star. If one's body is strong, it is also a good situation. However, if there is a mixture of elements in Tianyuan, the fortune will be halved. One's actions and decisions are uncertain, and the fortunes of relatives and friends will rise and fall. When the lucky stars of salary and traveling appear in the fortune - cycle, wealth and honor will come naturally, and one will live a leisurely and care - free life.
