The Nobility of the Rat in the Six Yi System
Original Text
Interpretation
The "Xiji Pian" says: When the Yin Wood (Yi) meets the Zi hour alone, it is the place of the "Six Yi Rats' Nobility". Yi takes Zi and Shen as the noble stars. Meeting Zi alone means using the Rat instead of the Monkey. Yi uses Geng Metal as the official star. When it gets the Bing-Zi hour, with the Bing Fire on Zi remotely returning to its original salary in Si, Si comes to combine with Shen, and Shen moves Zi. This is called the Sanhe (three - combination) of Shen, Zi, and Chen bringing nobility, meaning that Shen brings Geng with it. On the Yi day, it gets the official star. If using the Shen hour, the official star will be exposed, so it is not taken. If there are many Zi characters, it is called "gathering nobility", which is even better. If there is Wu in the year or month to clash with Zi or Chou to bind Zi, then Zi cannot remotely obtain the salary. Shen with Geng as the official star will be exposed, and You with Xin as the killing star will be exposed, and being injured by Bing, Zi will no longer be effective. The same applies to the annual and monthly luck cycles. This pattern requires the month to connect with the Wood Bureau, and the earthly branches under the day should all be places where Wood is prosperous. Floating watermarks are also acceptable. It is taboo to see Metal and Fire. If the annual and monthly luck cycles encounter Shen or You, it will bring misfortune. When moving towards the East, the situation gradually deteriorates, and in the Wu luck cycle, there will be death. For example, in a horoscope: Ren - Yin, Xin - Hai, Yi - Wei, Bing - Zi, it meets the pattern. If it is the Yi - Chou day binding Zi, or the Yi - You day with the killing star injuring, the score will be reduced. One Zi character is afraid of being punished by Mao or bound by Chou, but if there are many Zi characters, it doesn't matter. If Xin is revealed but not prosperous, and there are Bing and Ding to combine and restrain it, Bing combines with Xin to transform into Water. If the luck cycle goes smoothly, it will not harm the nobility. For example, in the horoscopes: Ji - Chou, Bing - Zi, Yi - Mao, Bing - Zi, with two Zi characters sandwiching one Mao; Ding - Si, Ren - Zi, Yi - Chou, Bing - Zi, with two Zi characters sandwiching one Chou. Although they violate the above taboos, they are born in the "inter - sandwiching nobility", so they are all of great nobility. If born in the summer season, it is only regarded as the pattern of the Hurting Officer. If born in the seventh or eighth month, it will lead to a poor life. If getting the Geng - Shen month and the luck cycle is in the north, it is regarded as the pattern of the official. If born in the four seasons with a wealth treasury, it likes the Water Bureau, the Hurting Officer, the Eating God, and the southern luck cycle, which is also auspicious. Whenever the prosperous Wealth, Official, or Seal is seen in the monthly order, the Wealth or Official should be used as the basis, and the clash between Wu and Zi is not regarded as a disaster. If it conforms to the pattern of the "Six Yi Rats' Nobility" and there is Wei combining with Wu in the horoscope, there will be a slight damage, resulting in being rich but having only a false reputation. The "Xiangxin Fu" says: For the "Six Yi Rats' Nobility", when encountering the clash of Wu, one will be as poor as a church mouse.
The poem goes: When the Wood Yin (B) is born in the Hour of the Fire Yang (C), it should be free from the clash with the Horse (Wu) and the punishment from the Rabbit (Mao). If the four pillars of the birth chart do not encounter the Monkey (Shen), the Rooster (You), and the Ox (Chou), it is certain that the person will be honored at the imperial court in youth.
Moreover: For those born on the day of the second of the ten Heavenly Stems and at the hour of the Rat (11 p.m. - 1 a.m.), it is called "the nobility of the Rat", which is extremely rare. However, it is most unfortunate if the character "Wu" (representing the Horse, corresponding to 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.) appears to break the auspiciousness, and the days of Xinyou and Gengshen are generally not suitable.
Moreover: For those born in the year of the sixth combination of the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches (Liu Yi) and whose birth time is the Hour of the Rat (Zi), since they have the official star, this method is also applicable. If they encounter the signs of the Monkey (Shen) and Rooster (You) or the years of the Horse (Wu) and Ox (Chou), and there is such an encounter in one position, they will become beggars.
