Analysis of the Jihai Hour on the Six Bing Days
Original Text
Interpretation
When a person is born on a day with the Heavenly Stem Bing and the Earthly Branch Hai in the sixth cycle, the strong Ren Qi in Hai is damaged by Ji. Only when it is in harmony with the qi of the month can it be regarded as precious. If there is no Yin or Mao, it is just ordinary.
On the Bing day and at the Jihai hour, the evil influence is strong while the energy of the Bing element is at its weakest. When Bing meets Ji, it forms the "Hurting Officer" configuration; Ren is the "Righteous Evil"; and Jia is the "Reverse Eating". There is an obvious Ji at the Hai position, with a strong Ren giving birth to Jia, and the Bing fire is in a state of extinction. If one's birth chart is in a month when the energy of the Bing element is strong and there are supports, the evil influence can be transformed into an official position, indicating nobility, but ultimately it will also bring fierceness. If one's fortune is in a period when the energy of the Bing element is strong, it also indicates nobility. If one's energy is weak without support and the energy of the birth month is not in harmony, and the Ren character appears in the birth chart, it will bring all kinds of disasters. Such a person is arrogant and high - minded, and will lead an ordinary life.
On the Bingzi day and Jihai hour, if it is autumn or winter, the fortune is ordinary. In the Weiyue (the sixth lunar month), if one experiences the luck of the Water and Wood elements and the Heavenly Stems show Wood and Fire elements clearly, they will be of noble status. In the Ziyue (the eleventh lunar month), if one experiences the luck of the East (associated with Wood), they will be extremely noble. If the birth year and month are Shen, Hai, Chou, or Xu, they will also be of noble status.
On the Bingyin day and Jihai hour, if one is born in summer, the inauspicious qi transforms into the auspicious qi of officialdom. One will have a virtuous wife and filial children. If not noble, one will be wealthy. If the birth year and month fall into the combination of Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Shen, or Chou, or there is a combination of Wu and Xu, and the Heavenly Stems further show the characters Bing and Xu, it indicates great power and nobility.
On the Bingchen day and Jihai hour, it is the pattern of Ride Virtue. If one is born in the Yin month, it is auspicious. If born in the Chen month, if one becomes a monk or a Taoist priest, they will be wealthy; if an ordinary person, they will be lonely and suffer losses. In the Xu month, it clashes with the Chen; in the Si month, it clashes with the Hai. When Bing is prosperous in the storage, all are auspicious. When Mao and Wei combine, and one experiences the luck of the Metal and Water phases; when Shen and Zi combine, and one experiences the luck of the Wood and Fire phases, all will lead to high status.
On the day of Bingwu and at the hour of Jihai, one can achieve military nobility. If one is born in the months of Yin, Si, or Wu, they will marry multiple times and have children late. Even if not noble, they will be wealthy. In autumn and winter, their fame and fortune will fluctuate. If their birth year has the signs of You, Wu, or Xu, they will attain great nobility.
On the Bing Shen day and the Ji Hai hour, if one is born in spring or summer, they will change their circumstances like a transplanted plant and gain good fortune through their spouse. If born in autumn or winter, their life will be ordinary. If born in the You month and move towards the southeast during their fortune - running period, they may hold a position in the judicial or disciplinary system.
On the Bingxu day and Jihai hour, if one is born in the years or months associated with Yin, Mao, Si, or Wu (in the Chinese zodiac and the traditional Chinese time - reckoning system), as wood generates fire and the fire burns vigorously, the person may have problems with their spouse and have fewer children, but they will be intelligent and wealthy. If born in the years or months related to You, Hai, Zi, or Chou, their life will be ordinary, yet they will also achieve nobility if they have good fortune in the east.
Those born on a Bing day and at the Hai hour have the highest fortune, just like orchids emerging from the weeds. If the four pillars of the birth chart are accompanied by clashes, restraints, and breakages, seeking fame and fortune will be in vain. For those born on a Bing day and at the Ji-Hai hour, it's extraordinary if there's no Ren character in the chart. They'll have few sons and two or three wives in life, and it's fortunate if Tianyi star appears. Their parents and siblings will be far away. There will be conflicts and it's hard to have both literary talent and good fortune. All because of the differences in the eight characters of the birth chart, they should avoid being greedy for money and losing their positions.
