Interpretation

When a person is born on a day with the Heavenly Stem of Ji and the Earthly Branch of Wei at the time of Xin and Wei, it is fortunate that the gourmet and the official treasury are in harmony.

If the wood is in harmony with the qi of the month, it must be regarded as precious. If the month fails to be in such harmony, it belongs to a person with a wealthy fate.

On a day of Ji with the time period of Xinwei, the Eating God assists the Official. Ji takes Xin as the Eating God and Jia as the Official. Wei is the storehouse of the Official, and on Wei there is obvious Xin and hidden Jia. If there is support and it connects with the qi of the month, it indicates nobility. When the Eating God is prosperous, it surpasses wealth and the Official. If it connects with the wood qi of the month and the Official is prosperous, it is especially noble; if not, it brings blessings. If it connects with the luck cycle, it also indicates nobility.

Those born in the Xinwei hour on the Jichou day will either be noble or wealthy. If they are born in a month with an affinity for earth energy, they will be wealthy. If they are born in a month with an affinity for wood energy, they will be noble. Another view holds that there will be punishment, which is inauspicious.

On the day of Jǐmǎo and at the time of Xīnwèi, if the signs are Yǒu, Xū, Hài, and Mǎo, and in the years and months of Wèi, it indicates nobility. When one travels in the southeast direction, they will attain high - ranking official positions.

On the Jisi day and Xinwei hour, it is a day of the Golden God. Those born in the months of Yin, Wu, and Xu will have noble status; those born in the months of Hai, Mao, Chen, and Wu and who experience the fortunes of the elements of metal, fire, water, and wood will have extremely noble status.

On the day of Jǐwèi and at the time of Xīnwèi, if it is in spring, summer or the Chǒu month, one will have an elegant and outstanding appearance, be articulate in speech, and gain a high reputation and a generous salary. In autumn and winter, one will be just ordinary. If there is the fortune of Wood and Fire, one will make a fortune despite encountering punishments and harms. Another view is that one will cause self - harm in the pursuit of wealth.

On the Xinwei day and Xinsi hour, in spring, things will be changeable; in summer, it will be auspicious; in autumn, one's lifespan will be short; in winter, one will have abundant wealth. In the Mao month with the water and metal fortune, one can achieve a noble position above the fifth rank. In the Chou month with the fortune in the southwest direction, one can become a court official. In the Chen and Xu months, as they are the storage places for wealth and seals, everything will be auspicious. Another view is that there will be misfortunes and punishments first and then prosperity.

On the Jihai day and Xinwei hour, it is auspicious in spring, stable in summer, poor in autumn, and wealthy in winter. In the You month, the Earthly Branch You is the place of the birth of Jitu (the Earthly Stem Ji representing Earth), and when the Gourmet God meets the salary (a favorable astrological condition), one can enjoy a natural life. Some say it's a sign of misfortune in a noble position.

When oneself's day meets the Xinwei hour, Who knows the loneliness by the lamp-lit window? When fortune and official luck come in the life's flow, Don't regret the delay when fame and wealth both you'll show.

On the day of Ji and at the hour when Xin meets Wei, the eater sits on the official treasury which needs to be opened. The clashes between Chou and Xu will bring out official positions and wealth, but if it's blocked, there will be obstacles in the future. For gentlemen, literary talent will be blessed; for ordinary people, they can be outstanding in business. If the key can unlock the fortune, it's predestined. Wealth may come and go, but it often stays.
