The Glow of Wood and Fire

Original Text

Interpretation

The ode says: When the fire is bright and the wood is lush, it brings glory in the spring months. This sign refers to those born on days such as Jiaxu, Jiawu, Jiayin, Bingwu, Bingyin, and Bingxu in the spring or summer months. If there are no metal and water elements in the birth chart to damage the wood and fire, and there are wood and fire elements at the hour pillar. When they go through the wood - fire luck periods, for those born on wood days with prominent fire, when they go through the southern luck periods; for those born on fire days with prominent wood, when they go through the eastern luck periods, they will be noble and blessed with great fortune. For those born on fire days with prominent fire, they will also be noble when going through the eastern luck periods. For example, if someone is born on a Bingchen day in a month when the fire is strong, it is also okay if they go through the wood - fire luck periods, but they will be rich rather than noble. If the wood is prominent but there is no fire, it will not form a good situation, because the combination of wood and fire has an image of transparency and clarity.

For example:

The birth dates are Dingsi, Jiachen, Jiayin, and Dingmao; Jiawu, Bingyin, Dingmao, and Bingwu; Dingsi, Jiachen, Yisi, and Dinghai. All three of these life charts feature the radiance of wood and fire, indicating noble and distinguished fates.
