《喜忌篇》云：日禄归时没官星，号青云得路。此格有七日：甲寅、丁午、戊巳、己午、庚申、壬亥、癸子，日主之禄归于时位，喜日乾坐旺、印绶生、月透财元、伤食、天月二德，主大富贵。忌刑冲破害、空亡死绝、及劫财分禄、倒食作合、官煞克制，虽可取用，亦不纯粹。岁运同。如乙日见己卯时，是时上偏财；丙日见癸巳时，是官星显露；辛日见丁酉时，是时上偏官，不作归禄格看。四柱何如？若月有官星或天乾透财官，只作财官论；若时支归禄，年月时支亦有禄，谓之聚福归禄，又谓五行归禄；若日禄归时，时禄归日，谓之互换禄；若年禄归时，时禄归年，如甲申见庚寅、乙酉见辛卯、壬午见丁亥、癸亥见壬子等类，俱主大贵享福；若重见禄位，如甲日寅时，又生正月，财官俱弱，只作建禄看；若月日天元同而止有时禄，谓之分禄，便为无用，若各自归禄，却又不妨。此格有七法：一曰青云得路，如戊子、甲寅、乙亥、己卯，柱中无一点官星，身旺得局，有印生助，虽子刑卯禄，不能破局，故贵。又壬午、庚戌、壬子、辛亥，身旺印助，登戊辰进士，为刑部郎中，作杂气格论尤是，故丁丑运戊辰科，丑刑辰冲故也。二曰官星坐禄，如丙申、丙申、丙申、癸巳，丙以癸为正官，生七月金乡有托，运行西北官生旺之乡，丙临申无气，三丙相倚，冲寅长生，癸官临巳，用神坐贵，得财官双美，故少年及第，中年拜相。三曰归禄逢二德，如辛亥、辛卯、甲寅、丙寅，甲专禄，而得丙寅为食会禄，甲为月德，月令辛卯为甲正官，辛逢二月无气，二寅中丙合去二辛，止有二寅为甲之禄，月德逢归禄，乃平章辅国英雄。四曰归禄逢印绶，如丙戌、癸巳、戊午、丁巳，柱无一点官星，丙丁印戊，日时禄互换，午戊已俱是火地印绶，生身太旺，运行西方食神伤官之地生财，癸与戊合化成火象，所以少年登第，官至三品。五曰归禄逢伤官，大忌见官，如壬辰、乙巳、己亥、庚午，己坐亥有甲为官，得巳冲去，有乙为煞，得庚合化为真金伤官，用壬为财，坐库，归禄日下，运行南方身旺，西方金旺，伤官去煞，生出财气，有用，英灵秀实之贵也。六曰归禄逢煞，如甲申、丙寅、戊申、丁巳、戊坐申自生，年乾透甲为煞，归禄于寅，二申制之，戊归禄时地，无官混杂，所以掌握兵权，威镇边疆。七曰归禄逢财，如己亥、丙寅、丁丑、丙午，自坐财库，丙夺财，亥中壬制，寅与亥合，运逢官煞，比肩强旺，可以胜任，己土食神，归禄于时，制其官煞，运行戌酉申，俱财旺地，故贵。《元理赋》云：归禄得财而获福，无财归禄亦须贫。又云：日禄归时，四柱岁运皆不喜官星，有刑害，其福减半。诗曰：日主生归时禄逢，无冲无刑不落空，官煞不临财印旺，伤食身健禄千钟。又：六甲生人禄在寅，若逢官曜贵难伸，身无健旺忻生印，禄有多馀爱食神；若遇相冲灾必至，忽遭克破福无因，流年大运皆同论，贵尊崇压众人。

Even if it can be used, it is not a pure situation. The same applies to the annual and monthly luck cycles. For example, if it is a Yi day and the hour is Ji Mao, it is a partial wealth at the hour; if it is a Bing day and the hour is Gui Si, the official star is revealed; if it is a Xin day and the hour is Ding You, it is a partial official at the hour. These should not be regarded as the pattern of salary return. How about the Four Pillars? If there is an official star in the month or the wealth and official stars are revealed on the Heavenly Stems, it should only be regarded as a pattern of wealth and official. If the hour branch has the salary return and there are also salaries in the year, month, and hour branches, it is called 'gathering blessings and returning the salary', also known as 'the five - element salary return'. If the daily salary returns to the hour and the hour salary returns to the day, it is called 'exchanging salaries'. If the annual salary returns to the hour and the hour salary returns to the year, such as Jia Shen meeting Geng Yin, Yi You meeting Xin Mao, Ren Wu meeting Ding Hai, Gui Hai meeting Ren Zi, etc., all indicate great nobility and enjoyment of blessings. If the salary position appears repeatedly, for example, a Jia day with a Yin hour and born in the first lunar month, and both the wealth and official are weak, it should only be regarded as the pattern of Jian Lu. If the Heavenly Stems of the month and day are the same and only the hour has the salary, it is called 'dividing the salary', which is useless. However, if they each return to their own salary positions, it doesn't matter. There are seven methods for this pattern: 1. Getting on the path to the blue clouds: For example, the Bazi is Wu Zi, Jia Yin, Yi Hai, Ji Mao. There is not a single official star in the pillar. The body (the day master) is prosperous and in a good situation, and there is a seal to assist. Although Zi punishes the salary at Mao, it cannot break the overall situation, so it indicates nobility. Another example is Ren Wu, Geng Xu, Ren Zi, Xin Hai. The body is prosperous and assisted by the seal. The person passed the Jinshi exam in the Wu Chen year and became a Lang Zhong in the Ministry of Punishment. It is more appropriate to regard it as a miscellaneous - qi pattern. The official star sitting on the salary: For example, Bing Shen, Bing Shen, Bing Shen, Gui Si. Bing takes Gui as the proper official. The salary return meeting the two virtues: For example, Xin Hai, Xin Mao, Jia Yin, Bing Yin. Jia has a special salary, and getting Bing Yin as the output meets the salary. Jia is the monthly virtue. The monthly order Xin Mao is the proper official for Jia. Xin is weak in the second lunar month. The Bing in the two Yin combines with the two Xin, leaving only the two Yin as Jia's salary. When the monthly virtue meets the salary return, the person is a hero who assists the country as a high - ranking official. 4. The salary return meeting the seal: For example, Bing Xu, Gui Si, Wu Wu, Ding Si. There is not a single official star in the pillar. Bing and Ding are the seals for Wu. The daily and hourly salaries are exchanged. Wu, Wu, and Si are all in the fire region of the seal, which makes the body too prosperous. When the luck moves to the west where the output elements (Shang Shi) generate wealth, Gui combines with Wu and transforms into a fire image. The salary return meeting the output (Shang Shi): It is extremely inauspicious to see the official star. For example, Ren Chen, Yi Si, Ji Hai, Geng Wu. The salary return meeting the killing star: For example, Jia Shen, Bing Yin, Wu Shen, Ding Si. Wu sits on Shen and is self - generated. The annual stem reveals Jia as the killing star, which returns to the salary at Yin. The two Shen restrain it. Wu returns to the salary at the hour position, without the mixing of the official star. So the person holds military power and is a powerful figure on the border. 7. The salary return meeting the wealth: For example, Ji Hai, Bing Yin, Ding Chou, Bing Wu. The day master sits on the wealth treasury. Bing seizes the wealth, but the Ren in Hai restrains it. Yin combines with Hai. The Ji earth output returns to the salary at the hour, restraining the official and killing stars. When the luck moves to Xu, You, and Shen, all of which are prosperous wealth regions, so it indicates nobility. The "Yuan Li Fu" states: "When the salary return gets wealth, one will gain blessings. Without wealth, even with the salary return, one will be poor." It also says: "When the daily salary returns to the hour, the Four Pillars and the annual and monthly luck cycles all dislike the official star. If there are punishments and harms, the blessings will be halved." A poem says: "When the day master's birth meets the salary return at the hour, without clashes or punishments and not falling into emptiness, without the official and killing stars and with prosperous wealth and seal, with strong output and a healthy body, one will have a thousand - bell salary." Another poem says: "For those born in the six Jia years, the salary is at Yin. If they meet the official star, it is difficult to show their nobility. If the body is not strong, they should be happy to have the seal. If the salary is excessive, they should like the output. If there is a clash, disasters will surely come. If it is suddenly broken by restraint, there will be no blessings. The same principle applies to the annual and monthly luck cycles. The noble person will be respected and overwhelm others."
