Analysis of the Xinyou Hour on the Days of the Six Wus
Original Text
Interpretation
If one is born on a day of the Six Wus and the hour is Xin You, the "Hurting Officer" brings about ruin and is feared when encountered at this time. Even if there are "Wealth Stars" in the birth chart to offer assistance, having sons won't be successful and one's life will end early.
On the Wu day and Xin You hour, one's fortune declines due to the harm of the "Shang Guan" (a concept in Chinese fortune - telling). Wu takes Yi as the "official" and Xin as the "Shang Guan". On the You hour, Xin metal is in its prosperous state, and Wu earth is in the "Mu Yu" state. Such a person is proud in nature but humble in behavior. If Yi appears in the year and month columns, all sorts of disasters will occur. If there is Yi and one enters the prosperous official - star fortune, there will be punishments and misfortunes, which are not auspicious. If one is born in a month with the "Sheng Qi" (vital energy) and walks the northern fortune, one will either be noble or wealthy.
On the Wuziday and Xinyoushi, in the months of Siyou Chou, the adverse influence of the "injury official" is completely removed. When one experiences the prosperous fortune of wealth, they can hold a military position or a position in the disciplinary inspection system.
On the Wuyin day and Xinyou hour, if one is born in a month with the qi of the earth element and travels in the northwestern direction in terms of fortune, they will either be noble or wealthy.
On the Xinyou hour of the Wuchen day, if the year and month are Chou or Wei and the wealth element appears in the Heavenly Stems, it indicates nobility. If it is the Guisi month and the Scholar's Hall and the Learning Hall are in the leading positions, it indicates high achievements in literature and passing the imperial examinations. If it is in the years of Yin, Shen, Si, or Hai, then the person is affected by the Disgraceful Omen at the hour, and there will be no good results in old age.
On the day of Wuwu and at the time of Xinyou, it is ordinary in spring and summer. In autumn, when the damage to the official is fully manifested, one may gain power and status but have a short lifespan. In winter, it is difficult for one to have a harmonious relationship with one's wife.
On the Wushen day and Xinyou hour, if the year and month fall within the periods related to Xu, Hai, Chou, or Zi, one will achieve high status and power.
On the Wuxu day and Xinyou hour, those born in the months of Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei will have high social status. In ancient times, it was believed that water and earth are in a state of decline at the Xinyou hour, so things often end up fruitless. Some may retire from their official careers early, and some may not have children. Looking at the fates of people born on these six days, we can see that there are no high - ranking officials. This shows that it is inauspicious to have an "offending officer" at the hour of birth.
On the day of Wu when Xin appears, it is called "stripping off the official position". If it occurs at the hour, it is even more to be disliked. If the official star encounters this, strange disasters may arise. There is also a fear of having ailments and an incomplete family of children. When it is the hour of Xin You on the day of Wu, the Hurting Officer doesn't like the Official Star. Only when one enters the fortune land of wealth can things start to go smoothly. One's personality and mood are unstable. Without any negative factors, it's difficult to inherit the ancestral estate. Brothers will fly apart. One will have a late - born child and a remarried wife before finding peace. It is a life with hardships at first and ease later.
