《喜忌篇》云：拱禄拱贵，填实则凶。拱，向也，夹也。禄是临官之禄，贵是官星之贵，或指天乙贵人。拱禄有五日五时，癸亥、癸丑，癸丑、癸亥拱子禄：丁巳、丁未，己未、己巳拱午禄；戊辰、戊午拱巳禄。拱贵有五日五时，甲申、甲戌拱酉，乙未、乙酉拱申，是官贵；甲寅、甲子拱丑，戊申、戊午拱未，辛丑、辛卯拱寅，官贵兼天乙贵。凡拱格，须日时同乾，贵禄与月令通气，运行身旺及贵禄旺地，方大好，印绶、伤官、食神、财运，亦吉。忌刑冲破害，羊刃七煞，伤了日时，拱不住贵气。大忌填实、空亡，譬如器皿空则能容，实则无用，所以只宜虚拱；完则能盛，破则无用，所以怕见空亡。岁运同。赋云：禄重位显，定知夹禄之乡，假如癸丑见癸亥，拱子位，癸禄生秋冬，禄重有气，如戊子见甲寅，亦拱丑贵，然戊受甲克，岂能拱之？余以例推。《三命》云：夹禄夹贵，必居八座之尊。《景鉴》云：拱禄拱贵，纯粹者王侯之伦，填实者虚名虚利，无财印不喜伤害，忌官煞，又怕空亡。
诗曰：
日时双拱禄中庭，金匮藏珠格最清，至贵至高君子命，无忧无虑到公卿。
又：
虚拱贵神兼禄位，不逢填实及空亡，冲刑羊刃并七煞，破败官星不可当。
又：
拱禄拱贵格中稀，也须月令看支提，提纲有用提纲重，月令无神用此奇。

There are five days and five hours for arching emolument: When it's the combination of Guihai and Guichou, or Guichou and Guihai, they arch for the emolument at the Zi position; for Dingsi and Dingwei, or Jisi and Jisi, they arch for the emolument at the Wu position; Wuchen and Wuwu arch for the emolument at the Si position. There are also five days and five hours for arching nobility: Jiashen and Jiasu arch for the You position, and Yimao and Yiyou arch for the Shen position, which represent official nobility; Jiayin and Jiazǐ arch for the Chou position, Wushen and Wuwu arch for the Wei position, and Xinchou and Xinmao arch for the Yin position, which represent both official nobility and the status of the Tianyi Nobleman. For all arching patterns, it is necessary that the day and hour belong to the same heavenly stem. The noble emolument should be in harmony with the monthly order. When the fortune is in the stage of the prosperous self and the prosperous stage of the noble emolument, it will be extremely favorable. The influence of the Seal, Hurting Officer, Food God, and Wealth Luck is also auspicious. It is taboo to have punishment, breakage, harm, Yang Blade, and Seven Kills, as they will damage the day and hour, making it impossible to arch for the noble qi. It is a great taboo to have the middle position filled or to encounter the Empty and Void situation. Just like a container, it can hold things when it is empty, but becomes useless when it is full. So, it is only suitable for virtual arching. A complete container can hold things, while a broken one is useless. Therefore, it is feared to encounter the Empty and Void situation. The same principle applies to the annual and monthly fortunes. The poem says: "When the emolument is heavy, the position will be prominent. We can surely know it from the situation of arching emolument." For example, when Guichou meets Guihai, arching for the Zi position, and the Gui emolument is born in autumn or winter, the emolument is heavy and full of qi. But if Wuzhi meets Jiayin, which also arches for the Chou noble position, however, Wu is restrained by Jia. How can it arch successfully? The rest can be deduced by analogy. The "San Ming" says: "Those who arch for emolument and nobility will surely hold a high - ranking position." The "Jing Jian" says: "For those with pure arching for emolument and nobility, they can be comparable to princes. Those with the middle position filled will only have false fame and profit. Without wealth and seal, they don't like to be damaged. They should avoid official killing and also fear the Empty and Void situation."

The sun and time jointly bestow blessings in the central courtyard. The pattern of precious pearls hidden in the golden treasury is the purest. It is the fate of a noble and lofty gentleman, who can reach the rank of high - ranking officials without worry.
