Fortune on the Hour Stem

《喜忌篇》云：时上偏财，怕逢兄弟，如甲日见戊辰或甲戌时之例。喜见辛官、壬癸生助，忌庚煞、乙劫，柱中不宜再见戊己，若身太旺，运东方寅卯则失财，馀干例推。此与时上偏官格相似，只要一位，不宜多逢，天元透出为妙，支内所藏次之，柱有官印相助，日主健旺，便作好命看。大怕年月冲破，兄弟辈出，则福气不全。古诗云：时上偏财冲最忌，兄弟之辈皆为畏，喜行身旺官禄乡，别无透出方为贵。

Interpretation

The "Chapter on Preferences and Aversions" states: When there is a partial wealth star at the hour pillar, it fears the encounter with siblings. For example, in the case of a day stem of Jia encountering the Wuchen or Jiaxu hour. It is favorable to see the Xin official star and the Ren and Gui elements for support, while it忌讳 the Geng killing star and the Yi robbery star. It is not advisable to have Wu and Ji in the pillar again. If the body (day stem) is overly prosperous, when the luck cycle enters the east (Yin and Mao directions), wealth will be lost. The same principle applies to other stems. This is similar to the pattern of partial killing at the hour pillar. There should be only one such star, and it is not good to have multiple ones. It is best if the celestial stem reveals it, and the one hidden in the earthly branches is of secondary importance. If there are official and seal stars in the pillar to assist, and the day master is strong and prosperous, it can be regarded as a good fate. It greatly fears being broken through in the year and month pillars. If there are many siblings, the good fortune will be incomplete. An ancient poem says: What is most feared for the partial wealth star at the hour pillar is being broken through. Siblings are all to be feared. It is favorable to walk in the luck cycle of a strong body and official - salary directions. Only when there are no other revealing elements can it be considered noble.
